We are at beautiful Moreton Island, at Tangalooma wreaks for an unforgettable experience—swimming alongside the incredible wobbegong sharks. 🦈 What starts as an amazing adventure quickly takes a turn when the weather shifts, and we find ourselves caught in a storm while anchored on a lee shore. With rising winds and building swell, things get intense fast. Join us for a mix of stunning island scenery, unique wildlife encounters, and a reminder of just how quickly conditions can change at sea. 🎥 Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more sailing adventures! #sailing #sharks #woobegongsharks #sailingaustralia #tangalooma #tangaloomashipwreaks Music Home by Elena

INSIDE GREAT LAKES SAILING SEASON SEVEN SHOW NO. 159 - One of the best sail racing fleets hit Lake Michigan this past week and competed in the GL-52's Big Red Regatta. We visited Macatawa Bay Yacht Club Saturday and chatted with a ton of folks who were involved in the race including those who know somwthing about the Jolly Madison Sailing Club, a great new Russian photographer who is brilliant, an outstandng host who made our visit successful, a North Sail loft manager who wants to know why age seems discriminatory and a public official who is trying to preserve the Big Red Lighthouse for another century. This should make for a great show and don't forget to check out a few comments about last week's 2026 Mills Trophty Race or this weekend's Crescent Sail Yacht Club's One Design extravaganza and here's hoping good winds and sunny skies.

We make these videos mostly for family and friends and to create a record of our adventures for ourselves so that we can look back at them later in life, were not in it to make money (way to hard). I'm so grateful every single day of my life for this unique opportunity. Raja Ampat got my heart and soul. The reef is alive with abundance and its beauty never stops amazing me. Underwater, I'm present and I feel very connected to the reef. Even though it's not my natural habitat, it's where I feel comfortable, peaceful, weightless, complete... This is the world which I belong to and I want to protect it, keeping it alive. Sharing these moments, I hope I'm inspiring more and more people to protect our oceans. 💙With love, from the ocean. 🎥Filmed & Edited by Simone Tomazela 🌟Special Credits to Yann Alfian ⚓️With the best liveaboard, Dewi Nusantara 🎵Music The Dawn by Caleb Etheridge Funster by Young Rich Pixies Facebook by Swirling Ship

Grandiose !

Sailing around the world for us, isn’t just about hopping from one port to another, it’s about chasing experiences and visiting places on earth that are intriguing and beyond the shoreline www.sailingnandji.com Right now, we’re thousands of miles from the ocean, surrounded not by waves, but endless dunes of sand… and somehow, we are still happy! We took a massive leap of faith on this trip, setting off on the adventure of a lifetime across Southern Africa and now here we are, deep in the Namibian desert, bouncing along in Landji our Defender. The landscape is dry, rugged, and unforgiving… yet, it’s alive in ways we never expected. This striking contrast — the beauty hidden in the barren land is exactly what we came looking for. Africa is unlike anywhere else on Earth. And sure, our car has tested our patience more than once… but that’s how memories are made and what makes the journey unforgettable. Sometimes we get the opportunity to sit at the hand of the master and hear first hand what is the best way to do something. This is one of those moments.  This episode I read the Appendix of Capt. Voss' book 'Venturesome Voyages' and if that leaves you feeling a little less than interested, don't worry, it's just because you don't' know who Capt. Voss is. I've got you covered on that too. If you would like to listen to fantastic stories of sailors in small vessels taking on the ocean in the last 150 years, all selected & read by Chris, check out the 'Mariner's Library'. https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-mariners-library/id1710666955 If you would like to check out The Mariner Youtube Channel - we have gear reviews, how to videos, seamanship training videos and on the water reports.
