En este episodio dejamos atrás Strangford Lough, un lugar espectacular pero técnicamente exigente, donde las mareas, corrientes y la planificación previa son clave para una navegación segura. Antes de la salida se produce la pérdida del dron, consecuencia de una cadena de pequeños errores de coordinación y comunicación a bordo. Una situación evitable que sirve como recordatorio de lo rápido que pueden complicarse las cosas cuando se mezclan tareas, espacios reducidos y falta de preparación. Analizamos la salida del lough, el momento elegido para aprovechar la corriente, y cómo interactúa con las fuertes corrientes del North Channel rumbo al Belfast Lough. También mostramos cómo, incluso con el mar aparentemente en calma, una mala decisión de timing puede cambiarlo todo. Además, hago un análisis detallado del atraque, revisando varios errores menores que, combinados, generaron una situación innecesariamente arriesgada. Una giornata in mare con gli atleti del Team Para Sailing di Punta Ala a bordo dei piccoli Hansa 303. Cosa abbiamo imparato? Che la vela può essere il mezzo ideale per abbattere le barriere, dissolvere il concetto di normalità Nel 2011 al Marina di Punta Ala è stata realizzata una Base Accessibile per rendere veramente possibile l’attività di Para Sailing agli atleti disabili, contestualmente sono arrivate le prime tre barche e partiti i corsi. Nel 2019 nasce la squadra agonistica. Ora alla flotta si sono unite altri due Hansa 303 grazie alla donazione di IBSA che ha anche lanciato in tutta Italia, con la FIV, la Para Sailing Accademy. L’obiettivo ora una promozione a livello europeo. L’Hansa 303 è stato studiato apposta per i velisti disabili: è lunga 3 metri e 3 centimetri (da qui il nome) ed è larga 1,35 con un pescaggio di un metro. Il peso della sola barca è di 55 kg, a cui vanno aggiunti i 30 della deriva. La barca non può scuffiare, in caso sbandi molto e imbarchi acqua riamane a galla dritta, a filo del mare. Può essere usata in singolo o in doppio, il timone è centrale ed è verticale, a “Joystick”. Il boma è molto alto e le manovre sono molto semplici, con randa e fiocco avvolgibili e solo le tre scotte da gestire oltre al timone. Nonostante sia un’imbarcazione piccola nelle dimensioni e di semplice gestione è comunque estremamente sensibile al timone, grazie prima di tutto al profilo lungo e profondo del timone, e molto divertente da portare. È una delle classi più diffuse nel mondo per il Para Sailing, oltre al 2.4mR, Neo 495, RS Venture Connect, Skud 18 e Sonar e sicuramente la più adatta a chi si vuole avvicinare al mondo della vela. - DISCLAIMER Il presente video è stato creato a scopo divulgativo.
