After having enjoyed Tenerife to the max, it really is time to set sail again! But… The last weeks strong southerly winds have tormented the Canary Islands. This so called ‘Calima’ contains sand from the Sahara. It paints the sky, and Zeezot, orange-brownish. Sailing South was impossible. That’s why we had to stay in Garachico a bit longer. But once the winds calmed down, we pulled up the sails and finally found our sea legs back!With still a lot of sand in the sky, the snow covered El Teide, though looking mystically pretty, soon disappeared behind a curtain of silk. Within a few miles we couldn’t see land anymore and it looked like we were far out in the open ocean. The conditions for sailing into our first acceleration zone could have been better… Join us and discover where we sailed to!

Après la traversée depuis l’Espagne je découvre Puerto de Soller et ses alentours. Cet endroit est vraiment plein de charme, son Tram vous fait remonter le temps. Finalement, je quitte précipitamment Soller, la houle qui rentre est insupportable. Je prends cap au nord vers le Port d’Alcudia. Je vous souhaite un bon moment avec Antécume.

Puerto Rico was AWESOME! The moment we stepped foot it just felt like home. Right after we arrived we were so excited to go to a Chick-fil-a. So we started from there. After enjoying a delicious meal we went to a super cool convention at DISTRITO T-Mobile. It was very crowded but absolute good vibes, we played a bunch of games and enjoyed the music! The next day we went to zipline at the Rainforest Zipline Park. It was such a friendly place and it was awesome going through the forest in a zipline! After the adventures we made a stop at Costco. The kids loved coming here and we had a lot of shopping to do... by a lot we mean a LOT lot. The next day we attended Church and checked out of the island. We spent a short time in Puerto Rico but it as amazing, and we'll be back!! We planned to visit Dominican Republic but with the delays we headed straight to Turks and Caicos!
