Laga gelcoat sprickor på en IF Segelbåt. Kan man laga ”spider cracks” på en över 50 år gammal segelbåt; med Biltema Gelcoat spackel? En stor utmaning när det kommer till reparationer av gelcoat är att pricka rätt i nyans. Att leta rätt på originalnyansen är ingen idé, eftersom båten inte längre har den färgen. Ninja har en gelcoat som oxiderat under många år. Under några dagar gav jag mig i kast med uppgiften att laga lite ”spider cracks” på friborden. Första försöket resulterade i en lagning som blev för mörk. Men efter lite experimenterande och ”freestyle färgbrytning” så prickade jag rätt … eller … nära nog.  Om ett år eller tio … kan jag återkomma med svar på hållbarheten hos Biltema Gelcoat spackel; men det ser lovande ut.
