Electric winches have always delivered power. Now we’ve made them smart. Today, most electric winches still use outdated technology. They are simple ON/OFF motors. You press the button, and the winch runs fast, with little control. This makes sail trim less precise — and sometimes less safe. This is why we created SailForce. The smart electric winch, available in SailForce 1 and SailForce 2. SailForce gives you more control. You get two variable speeds: a fast speed and a slow speed. So you can move the line smoothly, millimeter by millimeter. At slow speed, you can go as low as 1 centimeter per second, with the same precision at low load or high load. When you need speed, SailForce can reach up to 25 meters per minute. You also get real-time line tension on the control screen. You can see exactly what is happening, at every moment. SailForce allows central control of all electric winches on board. One control unit can manage multiple winches from the helm, while local control remains available at each winch. For more safety, we added a super sensitive tension limiter. Set one limit for fast speed—for example 100 kilograms— and a separate limit for slow speed—for example 1400 kilograms. This is a really cool old boat that has been lovingly taken care of it’s whole life. This boat has had a new transom, motor mounts and stringers in 2015 or so, and also had a new leg around the same time. The motor block was replaced in the early 90s and there’s roughly 1200 hours on the Mercruiser 288 5.0L V8 motor currently. Grew boats were made in Canada! This will give you all the retro boating vives you could want. I feel like you can truly relax out there without any modern amenities to take your mind away from being on the water in peace. There’s a large teak swim platform with a 3 step fold out boarding ladder. The covers are in good shape and the upholstery has also been updated. This is a really cool sport boat! The Seadoo Wake 210 is a 21’ bowrider with many cool features and a surprisingly good build quality. There are 197 hours on the twin rotax engines with 215hp each (430 total hp) that put the power out through twin jet pumps, making this boat safe for surfing or any on the water activity, and also a good choice for shallow water areas. There’s a wakeboard tower with bimini top and wake board racks. There’s a cockpit table that can be mounted in 3 different places: bow, cockpit, or transom. There’s a Bluetooth stereo with 4 cockpit speakers and 2 tower speakers. The snap out carpets are in great shape and the gelcoat underneath them is also very clean. Over a period of two and a half weeks in March and April 26 I explored the Galápagos Islands from above and underwater. My stay included a trip with the M/Y Aqua through the archipelago where we did 18 dives on the most famous divespots of the islands. We mostly had pretty bad visibility and strong swell. Nevertheless we encountered dolphins, hammerheads, sunfishes and many more marine creatures. Above the water I visited different islands (e.g. Floreana, Santa Fe, Isabela, San Christobal) with astonishing snorkling and beautfiul landscapes.
