In this episode, a rare no-wind day lets us motor down to the Crescent Anchorage, where the scenery feels almost unreal—towering, puffy clouds mirrored perfectly on glassy water. We spend four incredible days exploring remote motus and the underwater world, soaking in everything this special place has to offer. But an earlier-than-forecast return of the east winds quickly changes the picture, turning the anchorage into an untenable spot. We head back toward the westernmost pass, and after checking the weather again, make the call to relocate—knowing the west side offers no protection once those east winds set in. Ribadesella, dieser verwunschene Ort voller alter Sagen und Magie, hielt uns lange fest. Doch die Erde ruft weiter. Wir ankerten in der Ría de Villaviciosa, kämpften wieder einmal mit einem Seil im Anker, erlebten Regen, Sturm und kleine Siege. Budhi bekam endlich wieder seine Frisbee-Runde, Mila liebte das frische Regenwasser und Asturien fühlte sich plötzlich ein wenig wie Italien an. In Luanco, dem kleinen Fischerdorf, trafen wir Menschen, die uns sofort willkommen hießen. Wir warteten ein Unwetter ab, verloren uns in grünen Landschaften, landeten auf dem Jakobsweg und machten eine Kuchen-Challenge. Valerie entdeckte ihr neues SUP, Budhi lernte die Welt vom Board aus kennen und wir segelten weiter, immer ein wenig dem Wetter hinterher. Dann kündigte sich der nächste Atlantiksturm an. In Viveiro fanden wir endlich eine ruhige Ankerbucht. Kein Schaukeln. Keine unruhige Nacht. Nur Stille. Doch dieser Ort trug auch eine traurige Geschichte in sich. Speaking with the band before the show, I could immediately feel that the band was really passionate by their performances. As U2 will soon celebrate their 50 years together as a band, their best tribute band has also performing together for many years! Peter (The Edge) started the band in 2003 and Dave (Adam) joined him at the very beginning. You can see the efforts in minute details, like mannerism & clothing to re-create U2 live concerts! Well done, guys! So if you ever get the chance to see a live-show of this top performing tribute band, you will be in for a treat! Every year, they create a new show, so for one, will be on the lookout for one of their international shows! A personal note about the show: it was great to be able to sit comfortably in an indoor theater, be near the stage so you can see the artists well enough and to have the sound not set way too loud … 3+ over open air shows!
