Siamo tornati dopo quasi 3 mesi di assenza, dopo aver venduto la nostra casa, dopo aver impacchettato la nostra vita di 30 anni, dopo il solito estenuante viaggio di ritorno verso Y2K. In questo nuovo video vi raccontiamo brevemente il ritorno alle Fiji e l'inizio di tutta una serie di lavori e lavoretti che abbiamo programmato prima di riprendere il mare. L'emisfero sud si appresta a dare il benvenuto all'estate e per l'imminente stagione dei cicloni pensiamo di rimanere qui nei dintorni, siamo troppo stanchi e non abbiamo alcuna intenzione di intraprendere una navigazione complicata come quella verso la Nuova Zelanda. Abbiamo portato dall'Italia tutta una serie di nuovi "gadget" - il CPT e' felice come un bimbo e non vede l'ora di installarli! - e fra questi due novita' che ci aiuteranno a migliorare la qualita' dei nostri contenuti: la nuova GOPro 13 Hero Black e una nuova videocamera Sony ZV-E10. Siamo ancora in fase di "studio", anzi, scusateci fin da subito: durante la riproduzione del video vi imbatterete in alcuni problemi di audio, di zoom improvvisi e primi piani assurdi del nasone di Ale che chiaramente mostrano come la padronanza del "mezzo" (in particolare la Sony) non ci sia ancora del tutto 😁 E poi... la ripresa della vita di barca cullati dai lenti ritmi di Savusavu e dai dolci sorrisi dei Fijiani, la prima spesona per riempire la cambusa, l'arrivo dei fronti e la relativa pioggia torrenziale ad indicare il cambio di stagione. After fixing our engine problems in Namlea, on the Indonesian island of Buru we set off a day behind our friends to catch up on the western side of the island. The wind proved unco-operative, so rather than sail we motored all the way with an overnight stop in a beautiful calm anchorage surrounded by rain forest. Once we arrived at beautiful Pulau Tomahu we quickly went ashore for some beach combing and a refreshing swim but when we returned to the Our Dreamtime we found an urgent message from the Indonesian Rally organiser warning us of the presence of crocodiles in the anchorage. It may have been better if we’d known that BEFORE we went swimming. The tiny fishing village of Nanaly then turned on an amazing welcome ceremony for the half dozen visiting boat crews. The generosity of the people knows no bounds as we were then also invited to the following day’s Indonesian Independence celebrations at the adjoining village as VIP guests.
