This next 6 month season, our plans are to sail all along the Mediterranean and Adriatic Sea. Before we take off on our first sail we get her in ship shape while we wait out some ugly weather. As soon as we leave the marina and begin our first sail of 2024, things take a major turn... The sailing lifestyle might not always be sunshine and rainbows... With a strong technical background, Manuel, who comes from the Class40, has been lining up in all the races on the IMOCA calendar since 2017. J'aurais aimé avoir pu me consacrer quasiment à temps plein à la préparation du bateau et du voyage 6 mois avant le départ. Malheureusement, la gestion de nos activités professionnelles respectifs, la mise en place des moyens de financement du projet nous ont occupé à temps plein jusqu'à la veille du départ. Heureusement, que nous avons l'habitude de fonctionner en mode "projet" : Stratégie, Plan d'actions, Rétroplanning et Moyens. Tous les gros pôles : gréement, moteur, voile avait été planifiés et le reste traduit en listes. Malgré cela certains points passent entre les mailles du filet.
