Panamá 2021

Zarpamos desde Bangor, en Irlanda del Norte, para comenzar una travesía de dos semanas por las islas del oeste de Escocia. Nuestro primer destino: la isla de Gigha, donde planeamos fondear en la poco conocida Craro Bay. Con condiciones inusualmente tranquilas en el mar de Irlanda, nos acercamos más de lo habitual a la costa, pasamos junto a la isla de Muck y cruzamos el temido Mull of Kintyre, donde recibimos una inesperada llamada de emergencia por radio. Finalmente, llegamos a nuestro fondeo... y descubrimos que no estamos tan solos como pensábamos. Un episodio lleno de paisajes increíbles, encuentros inesperados, calma absoluta… y un toque de humor a bordo. Y si al pasar el Mull of Kintyre os viene una melodía a la cabeza… no sois los únicos. The Wunyami Cultural Walking Tour is a real gem of an experience on Green Island. Wunyami, Green Island's traditional name, means "Place of Spirits". Indigenous guides have special permission from their elders to share stories of the GuruGulu Gungganji and Gimuy Yidinji people. The tour takes around one hour and you'll come away with an understanding and new appreciation of the island's traditional history and cultural significance.

Over the winter we sailed every week out in Port Townsend Bay and the surrounding areas. We would also take the ferry to the Eastside where the kids had their school program. On this occasion we hit up the Seattle Boat Show to check out some items on our shopping list. Plus, we toured what boats they had available.
