Für ein paar Halbwind Schläge mit Segelyacht Monk, einer J-97 hat es aber trotzdem noch gereicht. Dank tief stehender Sonne wurde der neue Code Zero von Onesails gut in Szene gesetzt. Hoffentlich kommt er auch bald mal bei einer Segelregatte zum Einsatz und nicht nur beim Training vor dem Warnmünder Strand. Insofern: neue Woche - neues Glück. Mal sehen, was der September an Segelbedingungen bringt.

We also cross Albemarle sound, head down the Alligator River and Anchor in Wynn Bay. Call of the Sea turned 40 this year and continues its mission of providing life changing on the water experiences to underserved youth. They celebrated by throwing a party that included touring the ships and providing free educational activities, tours of the Bay Model, old time tunes by local favorites the Waterfront Pickers, a youth choir singing sea shanties in pirate costumes, educational activities by the Sailing Science Center, and community representation by Spaulding Marine Center and the Sausalito Working Waterfront!
