In deze aflevering varen we van Oudeschild op Texel langs de Nederlandse kust naar het zuiden. We doen IJmuiden aan en moeten bij de Roompotsluis overnachten, want we kunnen niet onder de brug door. Van de Roompot varen we buitenom naar Vlissingen, door het Kanaal door Walcheren naar Middelburg en Veere. Jarenlang heb ik ervan gedroomd om zeilend te gaan waar de wind me brengt. In 2020 was het dan eindelijk zover en heb ik samen met Felia een prachtige reis gemaakt naar Scandinavië en de Baltische staten. Onze Eva, een Atlantic 43 uit 2007, is een aluminium zeiljacht met hefkiel en gebouwd en uitgerust voor reizen naar plaatsen die net achter de horizon liggen. Vanaf 2021 vaar ik met wisselende bemanning zuidwaarts. Ik vind het leuk om onze avonturen met jullie te delen. After midsummer festival the next sailing trip took place in the very beginning of my summer holiday. Finally I can dedicate my time fully for sailing for several weeks.
