Планировали зайти на остров Ираклия, но из-за сильного встречного ветра решили идти сразу на Парос. Расстояние - 27 миль. Пришли в Алики ( село на Юге острова Парос) в 3 часа дня. Дорога от Шинусы заняла 6 часов. На купание и обед в Алики ушло 3 часа. В 6 вечера вышли с Алики и пошли вдоль побережья острова на север на Парикию (столица острова Парос) Расстояние всего 5 морских миль. Были в Парикии в половине восьмого. Ужинали, спали на катамаране.. Завтра сдаем катамаран.. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our charter is coming to an end. Heading back to Paros ... We left the island of Schinoussa at 9 am ... Original plan was to go to the island of Heraclius, but because of a strong headwind, the decided was made to go directly to Paros. The distance was 27 miles.We arrived in Aliki (a village in the South of the island of Paros) at 3 pm. The trip from Schinousa took us 6 hours. 3 hours were allocated for swimming session and lunch at a local restauranti. At 6 pm we left Aliki and sailed along the coast to the north part of the island - to Parikia (the capital of the island of Paros) It was a short distance of only 5 nautical miles. We reached Parikia between seven and eight in the evening. We had dinner and spent last night on a catamaran .. It's been a while and I wanted to upload something. So here's a minimum effort uncut clip from a sunday ride. Only 1080p cause I had to save disk space and battery and wanted to record as much as I could. I'll do something more high quality again soon, I'm really getting to enjoy riding again. Oh and I installed a powershifter. No, not a quickshifter. I can change gear by pressing buttons now, which makes riding a whole lot easier for me. Barely visible on the video, but the gear shift buttons are below the handlebar on the left thumb. When we were wintering in Port Townsend we went out sailing at least once a week. On this occasion, Shane was having so much fun we stayed out all day sailing. For fun, we moored off of Fort Worden, rather than going back to the marina. I had planned on a fun Valentine's Day dinner for the family. That Christmas we dined at the Beast's restaurant at Disney World with our family. So, I had wanted to do something fun with that. We watched Beauty and the Beast while at anchor. The meal was a version of beef ragout, cheese Soufflé, pan en Flambé, and the gray stuff.
