We spend some time at Great Barrier and climb Mount Hobson before sailing to the Mokohinau Islands. From here we sail north to the Bay of Islands. We are a family of six who are taking some time out of normal life to travel. We’ve pulled the kids from school and are home schooling while on the road and the water. We spend time aboard our 34ft sailing boat in NZ and have bought a motorhome in Europe so as to tour the other side of the world. We’re keeping our memories on video here and the kids write narration and play guitars so we have music to use in the videos.

A day before we spent a day on a Shubie lake (Nova Scotia) and met Vladimir, easy going guy, with a sailing experience. It turned out that him and Sergey had a lot of things in common (boats).  We had great time on the lake and invited Vladimir to join us on next day on the boat. He arrived to Horseshoe Island Park at designated time (8:00 am) where were at anchorage and we took off for a fun day of sailing. So here we are sailing in front of  waterfront Halifax, NS, enjoying conversation, drinks and the city skyline ======================================== ABOUT ME Back in 2019 I decided I did not want to be a 9 to 5  type guy anymore.  I got fed up with this rat race like routine city life and I got hooked on the idea of sailing and living on a boat full time. Ever started a boat project or sailboat restoration just to realize that a simple project can turn into a major restoration. Well this is what we found when we started our sailboat restoration. We had to anAirConditioner Disconnect, Two Water Pump Removals, a Tray Removal, a shaft strut, and rudder, a rudder show, a transducer, a plumbing job and more. We needed to remove the Old Non-Functioning Transducers and the old wood backing plates in order to install a new sleeve for our B&G DST800 3 in 1 transducer. The challenge was that the transducers were buried under a shelf a couple of water pumps and some plumbing. So watch as I contort in order to get all these barriers out of the way in order to remove the transducers. In our second day camping with our one-year-old and dog in Muskoka, Ontario, we FINALLY try the fish Christopher caught. Our second night was less successful in terms of sleeping, but I think we did well in such a small space with limited supplies. The trial was all to see how we'd do living aboard a sailboat!
