Hi everyone! We’re back with another video- finally. In this weeks edition we traveled from corfu around the Peloponnesus islands to Athens, and then skipped our way to Mykonos! Next week we’ll be exploring more of the Cyclades. Apologies for the amount of time that has passed since I last posted. Creating YouTube videos is a part time job - each video takes 8-15 hours or more to edit - something I as a high school student haven’t had time for this past school year. This episode ended on a cliffhanger, with us discovering that the windlass we had worked just fine, but it did NOT play well with the chain that we have. The solution? Install a new windlass, of course. This episode will walk you through the steps we followed to FINALLY install a working windlass - a VERY necessary step to allow us to leave the marina for good and head out on our adventures. Der Kurs verlief analog zu letzter Woche, dieses Mal waren allerdings mehr Teilnehmer am Start. Die Sonne verschwand früher als geplant hinter den Wolken, deswegen erreichte das Regattafeld die Mole am Leuchtturm bei schon einsetzender Dämmerung. Trotzdem gab es wieder etwas zu sehen - wie in diesem Fall den Spinaker, der vermutlich nach einem Segeltörn in salzigere Gefilde erstmal in der heimischen Ostsee gespült wurde. Wir hoffen, dass sich der Spätsommer auch in der kommenden Woche von seiner besten Seite zeigt und sehen der nächsten Mittwochsregatta entgegen.
