Found my Abiet's tape that I made back in the late 80's. Can't help myself. Had to make a video featuring one of Abiet's song ("Mimpi di Parangtritis") We kayak from the Benham Falls trailhead upstream toward Sisters, then slowly floats back with the current. Quiet, peaceful and serene. A great section for kayaking.

Пришли в Картагену (Испания) к обеду. Отпраздновали на лодке пересечение нулевого меридиана, непосредственно само прибытиев Испанию и пересечения всего СРЕДИЗЕМНОГО МОРЯ с Востока на Запад. Сходили в офис марины зарегистрировались и во второй половине дня совершили экскурсию по городу но пошел дождь ( видеосъёмка в этот момент не велась) посидели в баре .... С Севера надвигался сильный циклон Капитан принял решение оставаться в Картагене трое суток... Выходить в море было опасно. По прогнозу ветер 50 узлов, а так как у меня оставалось до вылета в Канаду 12 дней, то 3 суток в Картагене терять не хотелось и я решил сойти с лодки в Картагене и продолжить путешествие самостоятельно (следующие видео) Hа следующее утро попрощавшись я уехал в Гранадy... За ней последует Севилья, Мадрид и Барселона ... За месяц пребывания на лодке прошли 1363 морских мили, посетили Сицилию, Сардинию, Липарские острова, Корсику, Mенорку, Ибицy и непосредственно Испанию (Картагена)... In this episode we arrive in Antigua from our crossing of the Atlantic Ocean, flying the A5 Spinnaker. Arriving during the World Cup it took a moment to get our spot on the dock identified, but we eventually made it. Also in Antigua: - a hike up Middle Ground trail and the historic military ruins in the area; - a visit to Pigeon Beach and Catherine's Cafe (good but very expensive drinks); - we move the boat to Mamora Bay, the home of the St James Club marina and resort, where we join Steve and family for the holidays; - we have a Hobie Cat race in the bay; - the Takacat dinghy flips over during a 2 AM rain/wind squall, submerging the engine upside down in salt water. We picked up some bad COVID habits. New Years is the time to take stock of what was and what can be and change these habits. “This” is where Toni and I candidly discuss our health, mainly around our weight and set goals to make healthier lifestyle changes to get into better shape before retirement and life at sea. “That” is where we continue to extend our nautical knowledge and experiences by taking additional training as we wait for the construction and completion of the boat. And finally, the “other stuff” deals with Toni and I as we narrow down possible boat names and vow to agree on a name before the start of construction. Maybe even in this episode . . .? A dream came true! A group of Dutch trainers came to our catamaran in the beginning of March to do a 4-day Train-the-Trainer! Since we started talking about sailing around the world with a catamaran in 2017, this was one of my goals! To welcome trainers from the Netherlands on the boat in a beautiful surrounding aboard, to deliver a training , so they could be fully focused on themselves and their development, away from the daily to do’s at home. It turned out so great, even better than I had hoped for (sunny weather, enthusiastic group of people and even dolphins swimming by twice during the training in the bay of Mallorca! You wouldn't see that in a conference room in the Netherlands :). This is the aftermovie of how the 4 days Train-the-Trainer looked like!

On our previous stops in Beaufort, SC, we only stayed a day or two which really only gave us time to checkout the beautiful waterfront park and nearby shops. This time, we stayed about a week and it was nice to have that extra time to explore this cruiser-friendly town some more. After hunkering down through a 2 day cold front, we finally got off the boat to explore the huge mansions that line the historic district, known as "The Point". Als Dank, dass sie Zubenubi als Bühne nutzen konnten, sangen sie ihr neues Lied "A Ragusa" auf dem Verdeck als Vorpremiere. Danach kamen die Herbst- und Winterstürme, doch Zubenubi war sicher vertäut. Einige Tage nachdem unsere Gäste wieder abgereist waren, tat sich ein Wetterfenster auf, welches uns erlaubte, wieder einmal unsere Spinaker auszulüften und mit Ihnen nach Süden von Sardinien zu segeln. This is a special video that has a different format it is more like a slideshow that we used for a presentation where we where asked to give some highlight and show the whole journey we have done so far from we bought our Frida. Therefore it is only soft background music but short texts give explanations as a guide on the way but generally we think this video is best enjoyed as a relaxing scenery with many beautiful images where you can lets your dream run along or just sit and be mindful of what a beautiful place Earth is for a while. We are a middle aged couple that has left our hectic business lives to go sailing with our boat Fridá af Wisby and our cat Litza. Our goal is not to go to a specific place but to reach a state of mind where we can really enjoy life. Anders has been at the sea most of his life and sailed for the Swedish national dingy sailing team as a young man. Gitte has also grown up with boats and spent every summer sailing with her father as a teenager but made a pause of about 15 years without sailing as an adult, had just begun to pick-up the interest before she meet Anders in 2017. Onboard we also have our cat Litza a 4 year old Devon Rex we call her the cattain because cats always decide over their humans. Fridá af Wisby is a Wauquiez 47 pilot saloon that we Gitte and Anders bought in UK in 2019 and that we have sailed to Gotland and in season 1 2020 we sail in the Baltic Sea. During season 2 We sailded south to Dieppe Normandy France. After a winter in France in Season 3 we started to sail the Atlantic coast of Europe to Xufre in Spain where we lifted the boat over the summer while we where back in Gotland to work at our hostel we got there. Season 4 got a short sailing season where we only sailed to Lagos on the Algarve coast of Portugal where we hauled out once again this time to go throug a long list of boatwork and to build a solar arch to make the boat more self-suficient with electricity. After 6 months in Lagos we kicked-off season 5 with real bluewater sailing first to the northerly Atlantic island Porto Santo and Madeira and then further out to the Azores that lays in the middle of the Atlantic ocean before turning back towards the mainland and south coast of Portugal again.
