We tried to get Decorum registered but the Canadian Government was so backlogged it was obviously not going to happen, so we just decided to winggggg it, and try to get in with just the boat license we had. We arrived at Roche Harbour and everything went fine, the officers were really nice and it was a wayyyy easier process than we thought it was going to be! Traveling up the river about 60 miles we came across a gold bearing seem which tested up fantastically well. Approach to local and told her and organized to have a meeting on Black Gold. He traveled down to where the boat was berthed and we had a good conversation using a translator. He has agreed for us to come up and do some sampling and work on his land and river frontage with the local government support. Also if everything works out we will be able to sign a long-term lease or joint venture operation. We have to modify the dredge to be able to take it up this far so we can sleep and live on it and do all the testing required. Of course once were operational will be able to permanently set up multiple dredges in this location. At this stage we just need to find out what the gold returns are per hour with the Supermax. Ça y est, nous y sommes presque à nos vacances et à notre départ sur le fleuve en direction de l'aventure. Mais avant de pouvoir partir, il reste encore des choses à faire sur la Slainte. A delightful journey from Port Ellen, Islay, to the charming Ardminish Bay in Gigha proved to be a short yet incredibly enjoyable passage. *Read on for more information and useful links...* Securing a visitor mooring in the picturesque Ardminish Bay heightened our anticipation for the adventures that awaited. The following day, our adventure took us on a hike up Creag Bhan. This is the highest point on the island at 101 metres. The scenery that unfolded before us was nothing short of stunning, captivating our senses with its breathtaking beauty. At the summit, we discovered an ideal picnic spot, adding an extra layer of delight to our journey 😁.
