Pour cette session de pêche, nous avons choisi d'utiliser des leurres Inchuku, qui sont particulièrement efficaces pour attraper une variété de poissons en mer. Nous avons pu observer plusieurs espèces de poissons qui ont mordu à nos leurres. Nous avons également pris le temps de profiter du paysage et de nous détendre sur le bateau, en admirant la beauté de la côte méditerranéenne et en prenant le temps d'apprécier notre passion pour la pêche. Join us for this weeks episode as we arrive in Palma to see Team Ineos' Americas Cup boat blasting around the bay before going on to watch my brother Elliot Hanson, an Olympian racing in his Laser class dinghy. We took Dad + Hannah (his partner) out on the boat to watch, which was a very special couple of days. After this we moved round the corner to Cala Xinxell where we watched a lot of anchor chaos unfold. A local charter boat with skipper on board proceeded to anchor in the protected Poisidonia (seagrass), and then drag anchor, killing literally hundreds of years of cumulative growth. The grass grows at 1 millimetre per year. Then another boat dragged onto our friends SV Arlequin, and then again onto Sailing Saffron (Chris + Amy). We then had to help them as their throttle box later broke and their boat was stuck in forward gear. This week we talk about what went wrong with last week's hatch re-bedding project. Turns out that Dow 795 is quite sensitive to it's expiry date. We also work on and fix our leaking PSS Shaft seal. Matt sands between the sealing surfaces, and de-scales the unit with his mechanical picks. We even had to roll the seal over, causing water to flood into the boat. Matt and Aria clean the dinghy, that we named Dingus. They take it out for it's first paddle since Matt brought it home. Aria has a great time learning to row. For a bit of fun, we get Aria's R/C boat in the water for the first time at the marina. Matt re-beds another hatch, some of the it in the dark. And we ride out our first big-ish blow and rain storm. After an epic ten day passage we finally have our sailboat home and it is time to get some boat jobs completed. In this episode we show how to remove vinyl boat decals from the gel coat using only the sun and avoiding any damage. We also start to clean out the various storage areas on the boat and in the process we find lady fun onboard!! Die Österreichische Segel-Bundesliga geht in das 10. Jahr und hält auch heuer wieder was sie verspricht: 4 Stopps, 6 Boote, 18 Teams, 1 Meistertitel. Die Bedingungen beim ersten Tourstopp in Velden am Wörthersee waren durchwachsen. Der erste Tag begann mit leichtem Wind ermöglicht durch die am See bekannte Thermik, aber auch kurze Regeschauer waren dabei. So ging es auch am zweiten und dritten Tag weiter, wo sich, wenn auch nur für für wenige Wettfahrten, Windböen mit 25 Knoten zeigten. Der Tourstopp-Sieg ging heuer an den Meister von 2022 - dem Burgenländischen Yacht-Club. Auf Platz 2 fand sich der Bregenzer Segel-Club wieder, nur einen Punkt vor dem Yachtclub Podersdorf. Weiter geht es an den Attersee und das von 28.-30.Juni.

On continue notre déplacement dans l’archipel des San Blas et on part visiter la magnifique île de Nugnudub. Mais tout change d’un coup : on rate le bateau d’Élio, le fameux bateau de légumes… et on se retrouve complètement à sec. Impossible de rester, alors on lève l’ancre en urgence direction les îles Holandes, en espérant arriver avant lui. Sur le trajet, un énorme orage éclate juste devant nous : éclairs monstrueux, tonnerre, rideau d’eau… Heureusement, rien ne tombe sur le bateau ! Une fois en sécurité, Romain part en chasse sous-marine et c’est une session surprenamment productive. Et pour terminer la journée, on fait une rencontre incroyable : un homme vivant seul depuis 5 mois sur une île totalement déserte, sans nourriture ni eau, avec un seul objectif… nettoyer l’île. 🌴 Aventure, frisson et belles rencontres humaines : bienvenue dans cette nouvelle vidéo des San Blas.
