Der dortige Gala-Abend war für uns alle eine kulturelle Bereicherung und wir waren viel mit den Gleichaltrigen in Austausch. Der abschließende Aufenthalt in La Habana brachte uns die Geschichte und das System Kubas näher. Kuba war für uns alle eine eindrucksvolle Erfahrung und ein Highlight der Reise. As Alinghi Red Bull Racing starting racking up successful sailing days, the other teams are starting to take notice and through the Joint Recon programme, the technical teams are starting to ask specific questions about their set up as is allowed under the rules of AC37. To date, three have been filed. Section 41. Reconnaissance a) As a campaign cost reduction measure, COR/D has mutually agreed to cooperatively implement a centralised reconnaissance programme for all teams for the reconnaissance of all Competitors’ AC75 Yachts, AC40 Yachts and LEQ12 yachts including both on-land and on-water imagery (the “Joint Recon Programme”). b) Each team is assigned a two-person Recon Unit to follow their every on-water move, but it's not that simple. The cameras are supplied and identical for all Recon Units. Drones are not allowed, and they can't get that close, plus following a boat and keeping a camera steady at 45 knots isn't that easy to begin with. c) A three minute interview follows each on water day, and teams must answer the Recon Unit's questions while trying not to give too much away. I made it back to Daggers! At the biggening of this video I show a few choice moments of my Train/Plane journey from Chicago to sunny California where it was raining. This will be the 1st video in a 3 part series that documents my March Madness trip to my 32' Ericson Sailboat. You may notice that there is no music in this episode.
