Dabei klettern wir durch die Eingeweide unseres Bootes, um alles richtig zu versiegeln und für die nächsten Jahre vorzubereiten. 💪 Steffi ist fleißig am Nähen eines neuen Daches für die Helstation, das mit Sunbrella Stoff und UV-beständigem Garn ausgestattet wird – perfekt für den Außeneinsatz und extreme Witterungsbedingungen. 🌞🧵 Zusätzlich tauschen wir die Seeventile aus und montieren die hochmodernen Truedesign Ventile, um die Sicherheit und Funktionalität zu maximieren. ⚙️ Der Anstrich mit der ersten Epoxy-Schicht hat bereits begonnen, und ich schwinge mich weiter ans Schleifen und Polieren des Gelcoats für den letzten Feinschliff. 🎨✨ Verfolgt, wie wir unseren Trimaran mit viel Arbeit und Leidenschaft wieder in Bestform bringen – und lasst euch von den Fortschritten in der Werft inspirieren! We are extending our wheelhouse so that we can have a full cockpit enclosure AND move the mainsheet from the top of the aft cabin to above the wheelhouse (better safety and a better sheeting angle). This is the first prototype frame (will extend to the full cockpit width) so that Jane can start making the rest of the soft enclosure. We are now living aboard our Rival 38 Centre Cockpit full-time while finishing a refit so we can launch ASAP.
