Manos a la obra para solucionar la gran lista de problemas que arrastramos desde el accidente en el cruce del Atlántico Tras 12 días en el océano rompimos uno de los obenques, los encargados de sujetar el mástil, todavía a 5 días de llegar a tierra. Dada la situación, tuvimos que hacer un aparejo de fortuna que nos permitiese continuar, este con suerte ns aguantó el resto del cruce y un mes recorriendo el sur de las pequeñas Antillas. Además, se fueron sumando más roturas a la lista: botalón, base botavara, alternador del motor, sujeción de la estructura de las placas solares... Aún así, sin poder ir a vela y dependiendo del sol para cargar las baterías seguimos nuestro camino, llegando por fin a puerto a darle solución a todas estas roturas. Después de 2 meses sin entrar a puerto, la última vez fue en Canarias, llegamos a Rodney Bay Marina en Santa Lucia, donde estaremos unos días arreglando todos los desperfecto. Gracias a dar con la gente adecuada en la marina y a nuestra gran tripulación ponemos el barco a punto para seguir nuestro camino y aventura, esta vez por fin a vela. 4 jours de navigation vers les Fidji 🇫🇯 Dans cette traversée vers les Fidji en voilier, notre régulateur d’allure Windpilot Pacific Plus a été indispensable. Suite à la panne de l’autopilote, le Windpilot Pacific Plus a barré pendant 4 jours de traversée, prouvant une fois de plus la fiabilité des régulateurs d’allure en navigation hauturière. Tant qu’il y a du vent, ce système mécanique reste autonome, robuste et parfaitement adapté aux longues traversées. Après 3 jours en mer, le corps finit par s’adapter et le mal de mer disparaît, une étape bien connue des marins au long cours. Nous arrivons finalement à Nawi Marina aux Fidji, où nous effectuons les formalités d’entrée dans le pays. Quelle belle surprise ! Les clichés que l’on a sur certaines îles … Nous n’avons pas vu grand-chose du luxe de St Barth, excepté quelques gros yachts et belles villas dissimulées dans la verdure. Le reste c’est 100% nature ! Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir et de surprise en plongée et snorkeling car l’île est presque partout en zone naturelle protégée ; la pêche y est donc interdite ou très réglementée et beaucoup de mouillage se font à la bouée. Résultat : des fonds marins exceptionnels, avec des poissons en nombre et en taille bien supérieure à ce qu’on a vu jusqu’ici. Nous avons eu la chance d’observer 5 requins, des raies léopard, des tortues vertes et imbriquées, des langoustes très, très grandes, des barracudas, des tarpons et tous les habituels de nos sorties sous-marines mais en bien plus gros ! A terre, l’île étant assez petite, nous faisons des randonnées à pied et à vélos pour découvrir les nombreuses anses et très belles plages : on peut toujours trouver son bonheur en fonction de la météo ! La population est discrète mais accueillante, et puis c’est un petit peu la France donc pour l’avitaillement c’est le top : fromages, pains, charcuteries… Une escale chaudement recommandée !

Navegamos el Caribe en velero con condiciones de 40 nudos de viento y olas de + 5 metros antes de llegar a nuestro destino final PANAMÁ . Segunda parte de la travesía de las Antillas - Panamá, más de 1.000 millas para recorrer todo el Mar Caribe con unas condiciones muy duras. Después de 4 días desde que partimos desde las Antillas seguimos la aventura con unas condiciones que irán empeorando y nos pondrán a prueba . Presenciamos el mayor espectáculo de delfines visto hasta la fecha, mortales y vuelos de varios metros de altura, una auténtica locura. Al día siguiente vemos por primera vez barcos desde que dejamos las Antillas, en este caso mercantes con rumbo al Canal de Panamá. Entramos una zona con mayor tráfico por ser la entrada y salida del Caribe al Pacífico. Por otro lado, con el teléfono satelital nos descargamos la meteo, la cual nos trae malas noticias, viene viento muy fuerte y las olas irán aumentando, así que con esta información nos preparamos e ideamos estrategias. Las olas comienzan a ser paredes gigantes que surfeamos y alguna que otra nos parte encima. Reducimos vela para ser precavidos, ir estables y controlar la velocidad. La última prueba antes de llegar a nuestro ansioso destino, Nomadas está preparado. Aún yendo rápido conseguimos capturas con las cañas, eso sí más sufridas por la velocidad y olas. El cansancio se va acumulando, dormimos poco por el gran movimiento y los golpes de las olas. Varias de estas olas nos parten en la popa inundando la bañera, y una de ellas entra al camarote de Carlos, ya que se se había dejado el camarote interior abierto. Tras un par de días de lucha y más de una semana de travesía avistamos tierra en el horizonte, es San Blas Panamá, el paraíso nos espera. El sueño que preparamos desde España más de dos años atrás se cumple, tras más de 7.000 millas llegamos a uno de los mejores lugares del mundo para ir en velero, dicho por muchos navegantes que han dado la vuelta al mundo. Para mí (Alvaro), vuelvo a lo que fue mi casa muchos años atrás cuando navegaba con mi familia por el Caribe. Es tiempo de disfrutar y celebrar en el edén de los veleros transmundistas... Ich werde meine Fallen ins Cockpit umlenken denn ich möchte zum setzten des Großsegels nicht mehr ständig aufs Vorschiff. In dem Zug muss die Dirk gleich mit umgelenkt werden und im Nachgang wird der Baumniederholer auch noch ins Cockpit geholt, so kann ich dann mein Segel komplett aus dem Cockpit trimmen.
