We lucked out! It seems the docks on the Islands are still pretty full, even after Labour Day. We expected to maybe cruise around and find nothing for the weekend, which would have kept us at the dock. I noticed that some friends were out, so I texted them and asked where they were and if there was a spot. They replied that they were on an Island, there were no extra spaces....BUT...they were leaving Saturday morning so if we got there around 10:00 am, we could swap spots! Tremendous! It was really windy and gusty by the time we left the marina on Saturday morning, but we got to Grenadier Island in plenty of time, swapped out the spots, and started to get settled. Some other friends contacted us, and we let them know that there was a free spot for their boat. So a great weekend was had with good friends! Chloe was the Star of the Show, and the weekend. She was constantly sniffing, tracking, and chasing any critter she could see. It was so much fun to see her so serious and alert as a Hunter! She caught nothing, by the way. On Sunday, heading back to the marina, we stopped into Huck's Marina for a fuel-up and pump-out. What a beautiful facility and really helpful staff! As the bad weather starts coming in, it's more important for us to take advantage of every weekend on the boat!

Today's session is a 1 hour Hatha Yoga sequence to increase stamina and strengthen the body. Its a strong sequence and not available for every body. If something is not accessible, just do a different pose you enjoy or take a child pose to rest. I would recommend this sequence for the morning or during the day. You just need a mat for this session and maybe a cushion, eyepillow and blanket for Shavasana, depending how cold it is where you pracrtice. If you like to use essential oils I would recommend a citrus blend. For this session I used the Motivate blend by doTERRA. Although the video is not carrying on for Shavasana I highly recommend to you stay lying down for 5-10 minutes after the practice to allow your body to do rest and restore. I hope you enjoy . I thought my liferaft was my last line of defence. Then I had it inspected at a certified Lalizas service station in Mauritius — and I got the shock of my life. The liferaft had become completely unusable. Luckily, I had arranged the inspection in time. Because the liferaft was still under warranty, Lalizas sent a replacement liferaft from Europe. But getting a liferaft to Mauritius isn't as simple as putting it on a plane. Due to the compressed gas cylinder and pyrotechnics, transporting it by air is not possible. Fortunately, Bosss Marine in Mauritius was able to help. They replaced the cylinder and flares locally, making it possible to get my safety equipment back in order. This experience was a serious reminder: don't assume your liferaft is ready just because it is sitting on your boat. Have it professionally inspected before you actually need it. 💙 Love my videos?
