We are contacted by Henrik who is teaching a three month course on canoe building at W.A.M. (Waan Aelon in Majel) a boat and canoe building school in Majuro. We have seen a range of local canoes in our travels around the Pacific so we are pleasantly surprised to see a real passion and interest in building sailing craft in the Marshall Islands. The Three month course Henrik and Rob are teaching is focused on giving the students the skills and knowledge they need so they can go back to their homes on the outer islands and work on building their own sailing craft. Two designs were chosen to best represent a more modern approach to building - a Catamaran design loosely based on a Wharram Tiki 21 and an Australian design called a Harrproa. Henrik and Rob go for a fast sail across the Majuro lagoon to show off the suspension system on a traditional sailing canoe. Em nosso primeiro capítulo do “Vida em Família” ensinamos essa receita receita para vocês 😋👇 Ingredientes: 4 bananas maduras 4 ovos 1/2 xícara de óleo (de milho ou de coco) 2 xícaras de flocos finos de aveia 2 colheres (de sopa) de fermento em pó 1 colher (de chá) de canela (opcional) 1/2 colher (de chá) de essência de baunilha (opcional) Modo de preparo: Corte as bananas e coloque-as no liquidificador ou processador, coloque também os ovos, o óleo e bata bem. Coloque essa mistura em uma tigela e adicione os flocos de aveia, a canela e a essência de baunilha, misture bem. Por último adicione o fermento e misture sem bater muito. Coloque toda a mistura em uma forma de silicone, ou uma forma untada. Leve ao forno por aproximadamente 35 minutos à 180ºC. Ingredients 2 teaspoons packed brown sugar 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, softened 1 dash ground cinnamon 1 dash nutmeg* 1 dash ground allspice 1 splash pure vanilla extract 2 ounces dark rum 4 ounces hot water Steps Soften butter ahead of time. Place brown sugar and butter into a coffee glass or mug and muddle. Add vanilla extract, and spices. Add hot water and stir to melt and blend all the ingredients together.
