A sailboat disaster of a different sort for a young couple who set off on their honeymoon from Sint Maarten aboard a Fountaine Pajot 37 Catamaran. Bound for Florida by way of Puerto Rico and Cuba, the woman, Isabella Hellman, disappeared. Awoken in the night, the husband Lewis Bennett found the boat taking on water. He activated the EPIRB and called for help before deploying his liferaft. Later, he was charged with theft and homicide.
