The forestay swivel was damaged while scaling downwind with the ballooner up, and we ended up loosing all our balls.. We had to rebuild the forestay swivel, while the swivel was still on the forestay. What fun! At the end of the video I show how the forestay swivel is used to fly the ballooner. Hope you enjoy. Le saut est fait, nous venons de passer en batteries lithium. Nous avons remplacé nos 1000 À/h de batteries AGM par 600 A/h de batteries lithium. Nous sommes passés de 250 kg à 50 kg, soit un gain de 200 kg. Pour l’instant tout fonctionne parfaitement, reste à voir dans le temps si tout va bien fonctionner. Nous avons également fait réviser notre radeau de survie par une société agréé, et j’ai pu filmer tout leur travail, très minutieux et professionnel. C’est très intéressant de découvrir l’intérieur d’un radeau avant de devoir y rentrer de force ! Et comme toujours dans la joie et la bonne humeur propre à Javerne. We replaced our 1000 A / h of AGM batteries with 600 A / h of lithium batteries. We went from 250 kg to 50 kg, a gain of 200 kg. For now everything is working perfectly, it remains to be seen over time whether it will work out well. We also had our liferaft overhauled by a certified company, and I was able to film all of their work, very thorough and professional. Out in a field we roll them out, admire them… and then the excitement crashes. Once they’re on the boat, we realise they’re actually too long — a huge disappointment, and they’ll need altering before we can use them properly.
