It has a lot of great features, such as a Split-Flybridge, a Cockpit, 2 Cabins with ensuites, Aft Cabin Master (you know how great those are), an Open floor plan with a great galley, and a good size engine room. I really enjoyed the bright and airy feel of the salon and the master. If you find one of these in a good condition it would make definitely make a good liveaboard. She is currently listed for sale with Denison Yachting for $148,500. One thing I forgot to mention in the video is that if you are thinking of buying a Boat to Live on, the LOA does matter. It took us about three days to move the keel out of the ground and into the boathouse. No easy task moving an object that heavy. It's great to know that we now have our keel and it is sitting where it needs to be in the boathouse. Next we'll need to fair it, flatten and shape the wood keel and then we can start bolting things together. Oceanco's Project "H" had to be one of the best kept secrets in yachting history. Sono ben 180 i mega yacht CRN attualmente naviganti. Cloud 9 è lungo 74 metri, largo 13,5 metri, lo scafo è di acciaio e la sovrastruttura di alluminio. Ha 5 ponti più un sottoponte ed è stato realizzato su misura per il suo armatore che vive qui con la famiglia per lunghi periodi: questa è la sua casa e da qui organizza il suo lavoro. Per lui e la sua famiglia un’area privata di 400 mq. Gli ingegneri del cantiere hanno curato tutti gli aspetti tecnici, lo studio Zuccon International Project ha tracciato le linee esterne e Winch Design si è occupato delle zone ospiti esterne e del décor degli interni. Burgess, società di servizi altamente professionale nel mondo dei superyacht, ha supervisionato tutte le fasi e le opere relative alla costruzione, dal progetto alle verifiche tecniche finali. Per comprendere il livello di questo yacht consideriamo che può ospitare 12 passeggeri e 22 membri di equipaggio, quasi due persone per ciascun crocierista. Se usata privatamente può trasportare 16 persone in 7 cabine oltre alla suite armatoriale. Ha un’autonomia di 6000 miglia a 12 nodi, in pratica si possono attraversare gli oceani. Grazie a due motori Caterpillar 3516C-Chd 2720 cv @1600 rpm, lo yacht può raggiungere una velocità massima di 16,5 nodi e una velocità di crociera massima di 15 nodi. If you are considering The Great American Loop, this boat will interest you for several reasons. First, she’s economical….1.5 -2 gal/hour at 7-8 knots. New Westerbeke 7.5KW generator Second, she’s very safe. When you run aground, (and you will !) the steel keel has a 1 inch shoe to protect you, plus the prop is enclosed in the deep draft of the center keel. This is a ‘character boat’ inside and out. The Douglas fir interior has the craftsmanship of a master finish carpenter. Arched beams. Beautiful cabinets. Meanwhile the exterior signals Classic due to a sheer that comes out of working boats of 100 yrs ago. So, she’s economical, safe, salty, and affordable. The owners are seriously considering another “liveaboard” and must sell the current boat to afford the next purchase. We spent the morning free diving near the lighthouse, and BAM! a jelly fish had attacked me. In broad daylight. However, the jelly was probably nothing but graceful as it wrapped around my wrist. Just minding it’s own business as we spent the morning frolicking in the depths of it’s backyard. ‘Attack’ or not, it hurt. A lot. That’ll teach me to wear a short suit. Riley nearly knelt on a Stonefish, the most venomous fish in the world. Crazy stuff! I don't want to think about the mayhem that would have followed in getting Riley to the mainland had he been stung... We didn't know it was world class diving in the Turks and Caicos until we had a chat to some fellow divers on a nearby boat.This is what it's all about my friends.
