We wrap up the week-long trip but cruising south on the east coast of Tortola back to the Sunsail marina in Road Town. We're met with a Sunsail crewman and he navigates the boat into a tight spot on the dock where we spend our last night aboard. Early the next morning we pack up and lower the family flag, concluding an amazing vacation.
Our final day "at sea", we leave Cane Garden Bay and head north to Marina Cay where we do a little sightseeing followed by some snorkeling.
The boys take the cat out of White Bay for us and we skirt the island north and do a little sightseeing around Little Jost and Sandy Cay before crossing over to Cane Garden Bay. We wandered around the town and beach for awhile and stopped off for a few drinks watching the pelican diving at Sailor's Rest Bar & Grill before heading back to the boat for a sunset dinner and a quiet evening aboard.
A quick stop at Soper's before heading over to Jost Van Dyke. We first try to find a mooring ball in White Bay, but no success... so we moor up in Great bay and dinghy back over to White Bay for the afternoon. On our way there, we spot a vacant mooring ball and leave one group with the ball while we go back and get the cat. When the dust settles, we head to The Soggy for some Painkillers where we met the nicest guy, Art. Many painkilers later we head over to Foxy's for dinner and karaoke before the dinghy back to the Cat for the night.
After a quick stop at Soper's Hole for water and replenishing some provisions, we headed over to Norman Island and the famous Willy T's. After a few drinks and a few splashes we spent a quiet night moored in the Bight Bay
We leave the paradise that is Anegada and head back through the Sir Francis Drake Channel. Some of the video got a lil foggy and the water was a lil choppy but it was a great day for the sail south to Soper's Hole for more provisions.
Waking up in Anegada, we "taxi" over to the north side of the island to Loblolly Bay where we hit the beach, did some snorkeling, and had a great lunch at The Big Bamboo
Pictures of our first day on Anegada in montage form that include our exceptional dinner on the beach at Anegada Reef Hotel.
Leaving Virgin Gorda, we open up the sails and enjoy a nice pace to our next stop, beautiful Anegada.
Arriving in Anegada just before noon, we dinghy around the west end of the island near Walk Over Set Point and do a little snorkeling. Afterwards, we raise our family flag that we purchased the night before at Saba Rock.
We journey north near Necker Island for a visit to Saba Rock and an overnight stay moored outside the Bitter End Yacht Club at Virgin Gorda
Our first day out on the water. We motored across the channel to the southern tip of Virgin Gorda to "The Baths" where we had lunch, snorkeled and explored the baths for a few hours
In an effort to document EVERYTHING on this trip, I put together a montage of pics we took while provisioning the boat for the week and also hitting "The Pub" for a nice dinner out on the back deck
We get a first look at our home for the week: a Sunsail 444 catamaran
Chapter One is a small montage of the family getting to our destination, Sunsail in Roadtown BVI

This is the video of my presentation in the Proboat Design Concept Craft Online PechaKucha that was broadcast on 17th January 2013. It shows the process through which I went to develop the classically styled Didi 29 Retro design from the very modern performance trailer-sailer Didi 26.
Alex Thomson tells us more about the issue he has had with the hydrogenerators on HUGO BOSS, shows the damaged bracket and tie bar, and he takes us through the repairs he had to carry out on board.

Horizon breaks the normal design rule to create E66 with a fabulous exterior. We design oversized windshields at main deck to provide panoramic views for the guest even while seated. The owner can enjoy the beautiful sea view without impact by UV light and sun heat. There are 3 staterooms with 3 heads. The master room is full beam width with high quality King-size bed. In the master room, there is a "big eye" side window to allow amount of natural light into the room to reduce the need for artificial light. With eco-friendly and energy-saving designs to extend the green living for the future. There are two single beds in port side cabin which can be combined in one comfortable double bed to utilize the space completely. The plenty amount of space design make the owner more fun with family and friends. Aft stern garage combining teak hi/lo platform brings the owner more fun on all kinds of activities on the sea. Choosing E66 can bring you different living style than before. For more information please contact Horizon Motor Yachts Australia on 07 5577 9009 or visit our website www.hmya.com.au
