On the 70th anniversary of the D Day landings I went to Normandy to trace my Fathers footsteps. In 1944 he landed on Sword beach as part of the allies push into France. My dream was to stand on the exact place on the exact beach at the exact time 70 years after my Father had been there. I should have put this video up last year but as my Dad had only recently passed I found it all a little to painful. I dedicate this video to the memory of those who took part in what was a turning point in European history and the Second World War.

Etter heftige og intense dager i Pogo 10.50 "Ellebellebatå" kom laget i mål på Nordkapp den 7. oktober 2015. Rekorden ble satt til 7 dager, 11 timer og 27 minutter! The autumn 2015, we set a world record on the distance Lindesnes - North Cape; sailing the 1100 + nautical miles from Norway's southernmost to northernmost point. We have had many sailors ask us about our COB prevention method on Voyageur 10.10. It is quite difficult to describe accurately so me made this video. We did it at the dock because of the difficulty to film it properly while underway. The most important design feature of our system is that you cannot go overboard and impact the water even if you tried. Many people head out on their boats with a false sense of security. Their jackline/tether system will keep them attached to the boat, however will let them go overboard. Being dragged through the water next to a jostling boat, even a slow speed, will lead to your drowning very quickly. You will wish that you weren't attached, and desperately try to release yourself, defeating the whole purpose of wearing the tether. It takes some time and effort to come up with a system that works, but it may save your life one day, as our system has saved mine.
