It's time to explore Cumberland Island - land of the wild horses - and to see if the cousins of the Carrot Island herd are as bloodthirsty as their kin. No joking now... Cumberland is WONDERFUL. This is a place here we would definitely like to revisit for at least a week, to thoroughly explore, and to experience this wild and wonderful place all over again. Fireworks around midnight

After living in the area for 4 1/2 years and always wondering what was inside the caves at Sunset Beach, we FINALLY got an opportunity to adventure out there. People are not allowed to climb on the Island, because it is a bird sanctuary, so we stayed on the beach below. The water is usually pretty cold in Coos Bay, Oregon, making it undesirable to adventure out too far. The caves were spectacular and finding the hidden 3rd cave was very exciting! The last couple of videos showed my sailing my 10ft 2 sheet plywood dinghy Duo. This clip shows me first rowing and then motoring it. Rowing I could just manage 4 knots on the gps (I am an unfit 62 year old). Motoring using a 2.5hp Suzuki I did 8. Obviously it trims better with two on board. Having said that we rarely motor as it is so easy to row, even with two on board and a couple of weeks of shopping This dinghy was built in two days (painting took longer!). La casse est au rendez vous : Enda O’Coineen abandonne sur démâtage. Voiles déchirées, safran cassé, gréements fragilisés, les avaries sont nombreuses et pénalisantes pour beaucoup de skippers . En tête les leaders se livrent à un mano à mano passionnant, le passage du Pot au noir sera décisif.

We had an incredible opportunity to sail on a 203 feet boat from Holland, which was anchored right next to us. We also started having a problem with auto pilot, and so far we cannot (I mean Jack, of course) figure out where the problem is coming from. And finally little sweet thing from my side - I am happy I have merited to stay in life for one more year. We are an international couple - Jack (from France), Kateryna (from Ukraine). We have been crossing this wonderful life together since 10 years. Finally (after many years of dreaming) we are living a "true" life. We have a plan to sail across all oceans (almost), and will be happy to share this adventurous lifestyle with you! Sailing to South Africa we stop at remote Bassas Da India for a shark diving expedition!!! It was really sad to leave our beloved Madagascar but at the same time I felt incredibly excited to explore a new continent. We made plans to stop for some Scuba Diving at Bassas Da India, an extremely remote sunken atoll out in the middle of the Mozambique channel. No people, no land, and hundreds of sharks! This was extreme diving for sure and I definitely felt nervous, we had sharks circling us the whole time and a huge grouper almost swallowed our Gopro + Brian’s hand! One of my favorite passages!
