The 2013 U.S. Team Racing Championship got off to a surprisingly great start in Newport Beach, CA on Friday. Despite forecasts of shifty Santa Anna breezes, the regatta put 89 races in the can, completing nearly one and half of the two round robins in the preliminary round. Jet Lag (a.k.a. Stanford Sailing Team) is in 2nd with 73%, and skipper Kevin Laube breaks it down for us in today's highlights.
