EP 186: We're sailing again.. but not on our boat? | Sailing the Caribbean Our weekend started pretty good; from starting a mango smoothie shop, to having a great braai (barbecue) on Hakuna with friends, sailing around on a mono hull which we hadn't done in ages.. we're not ones to bash mono hulls and say catamarans are better.. we believe each has their strengths and weaknesses and this sail made us confirm exactly how we feel.. it was pretty nice having a smooth ride upwind and not having that constant slamming you would most likely experience on a catamaran (unless you got a performance cat... now that's an entirely different story) the instant feedback on every adjustment you make.. Lady Africa.. definitely does not have that 🤪 We had a great time sailing with our friends on their 40ft Wauquiez. Then we headed off to make some of our own chocolate bars at Tri Island Chocolate Factory. It was amazing and so delicious!
