Join the Isle of Dogs Sea Cadet Unit (IDOC) for an incredible look behind the scenes of two epic offshore sailing weekends on the Solent! Thanks to the generous support of the Ulysses Trust, our cadets swapped the streets of London for the open ocean. The crew learned essential maritime skills, navigated challenging coastal conditions, and built unforgettable bonds. Every charter we complete with the Trust directly funds a week-long sailing trip for a young person recovering from or with cancer. From evening navigation theory and intense Uno games to flying the spinnaker into a beautiful Solent sunset and anchoring at Osborne Bay, this is what youth offshore training is all about!
