Our daughter was born with a rare medical condition, and recently her neurosurgeon asked us to travel to Boston Children’s Hospital for a diagnostic angiogram. It’s a serious test that comes with real risks — and the results could have a major impact on her future. We filmed the experience as honestly as we could because this journey — the highs, the lows, and the unexpected detours — is all part of our life as we try to build a home for our family here in the mountains.
