Unstepping the MAST on our SAILBOAT | SAILING WAYZGOOSE WARRIOR Ep 20 We were both really nervous about unstepping the mast so we tried to prepare as much as we could. We removed the boom, built a-frame supports for the mast, took the second foresail off and measured and lubricated the turnbuckles. The day finally came and we moved the boat to the next basin where the telehandler would lift our mast. After a long cold winter and with covid restrictions in place there wasn’t much going on in Honfleur Marina so we thought that this was the perfect occasion to invite our neighbours and make the most out of the whole operation :) We are so glad they came… We don’t know how we would have managed without them!
