Lots of SMOKE and almost TV FIRE onboard!! Shore power failure. Accidental wrong voltage and my Tv on fire: By mistake I got over 400 volts in on my shore power and my TV got fried and sent smoke signals to me. Check out this scary video of how close I got to loose my boat and my home because of faulty electricity from shore. The dangerous toxic smoke from fried TV in electrical fire is very unhealthy. This whole situation could have turned into a boat nightmare if I had not been there or if I was sleeping. Double voltage fried everything. This can happen with wrong voltage. electrical fire on sailboat. I also put the name on Mermaid after giving up on sailing due to bad weather. And I get a surprise!
