This 1962 Danish engine shouldn’t have been built when it was. While the world was building rockets, computers, and modern diesel engines, somebody was still building hot-bulb semi-diesels based on technology invented in the 1800s. Aboard Lady Hawk, I walk through the complete starting procedure of our 90HP Grenaa engine: air start, lubrication, fuel, heating the bulb, tuning, troubleshooting, and finally bringing the old machine to life.
