The Most Dangerous Route? | The Next Big Adventure

I’m going to try sailing around The Horn. This fall I’ll leave our comfortable liveaboard lifestyle here on Grebe and join the tall ship EUROPA for an extraordinary voyage from Auckland, New Zealand, across the Southern Ocean and around Cape Horn to Ushuaia, Argentina. It’s a journey I’ve wanted to make for a very long time — and I’m going to bring you along. Over the coming months I’ll be documenting the preparation, the passage itself, life aboard EUROPA, and what it’s actually like crossing some of the most formidable ocean on Earth.
