Welcome back on board! 🌴⛵ In our last episodes, we left the Society Islands and French Polynesia behind. After almost five months, our journey finally continues to the Cook Islands! Our crossing gets off to a lucky start with an amazing fishing catch. 🎣 Our next destination is Aitutaki – without a doubt one of the most special harbours we have ever visited, with the warmest welcome from fellow sailors. We rent scooters to explore this beautiful island and meet so many lovely people along the way. And underwater, we get incredibly lucky too: we even get the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to swim with humpback whales! 🐋 The Cook Islands turn out to be an unexpectedly special place that we absolutely fall in love with. But with weather conditions approaching, our departure comes just as unexpectedly quickly. After only five days, we leave Aitutaki behind and set sail towards Niue.
