Dinawan, a small island just 10km south of Kota Kinabalu has everything you need from a tropical island: coral sand beach, blue lagoon, wooden stilted houses, gentle lapping water. We took a breather here before our next adventure and lived like holiday makers for a few nights. Then we headed back to Gaya, where we found some wind and managed a small sail.
