We're the tiny boat amidst the battered west coast of Tasmania. Behind this rock is where we’ve found shelter, it takes the edge off the Southern Ocean swell. But, there’s no doubt, it’s remote and exposed. Boat life in the roaring forties is a new adventure for us, it's icy, yet exciting and we’re about to set off on a mission with a 2-day weather opportunity to get down this wild coast before the next blow rolls through.
