Sailing from Lanzarote to Grand Canaria was fun - dodging squalls and "racing" our new friends the whole way! When we arrived in Las Palmas, we were excited to meet more great sailors and honored to be invited to spend the day on a Rapido Trimaran named, Ineffable. An ineffable experience! Las Palmas is a city founded in 1478. It is the capital of the Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean and is the most populous city in the Island chain. Located in the northeastern part of Gran Canaria, and 93 miles from the Moroccan coast, Las Palmas is considered by many as the "the best climate in the world.
