With £5,000 and a trip to Red Bull King of the Air on the line, can she conquer her fear and pass the rigging test, or will her injury force a shock exit from Wings & Waves Season 2? --- Training is officially over for our four creators in Viana do Castelo, Portugal, as the scored rounds of the Wings & Waves Season 2 kiteboarding challenge begin. Whether you are trimming sails offshore or launching a kite on the beach, wind awareness, line preparation, and safety checks are everything—and today, the judges are putting those fundamentals to the test. In Round 1, the creators are scored out of five points on solo kite rigging: pumping and positioning the kite in the wind, unwinding the bar and separating the lines, connecting the lines with clean knots, hooking into the chicken loop and safety leash in the correct launch position, and overall confidence. Stepping up first on her own, Jazz battles strong wind, twisted lines, and the lingering trauma of her earlier launch accident.
