The Zenith started with a capsize in a traditional performance dinghy, cracked ribs, and a realization on the drive home from Blithfield: there had to be a way to race a fast, exciting boat in big winds and sea states without risking injury or exhaustion. We locked ourselves in a room, took our wish-list to legendary naval architect Phil Morrison, and created the Zenith. With well over 100 boats now on the water, the Zenith has proven that single-handed sailors (70 - 120kg+) can enjoy blistering club and championship racing while a ballasted centreboard looks after them in the gusts.
