After buying our 60ft ex-Federal Police vessel on eBay, our next big challenge was getting her ready for the journey from the Gold Coast to Gladstone, around 400 nautical miles north, where her massive refit will begin. But there was one problem…We didn't really know what was onboard. So before attempting the journey, we started preparing for everything we could think of. Fresh water? Sorted. Power? Planned. Fuel? Covered. Emergency equipment? Check. Life jackets and safety gear? Check.
