Paradise in Sardinia… But We're Not Allowed Ashore?!

We sail into La Maddalena, the stunning archipelago off northern Sardinia, Italy. Turquoise anchorages, granite islands and views that are pure magic. La Maddalena is a protected national park, and the rules make it hard for us to go ashore and explore in some places. We also meet up with new Scandinavian boat friends for the very first time and head out on a hike together, which leaves Nora, and us, completely exhausted. This time it's short sails as we hop between the islands of the archipelago on our Beneteau Oceanis 45.⛵️ 📍 Route: La Maddalena Archipelago, Italy → La Maddalena Archipelago, Sardinia, Italy 🧑‍✈️ Crew: Erik, Linn & Nora the dachshund If you'd like to become part of our journey and support our sailing adventures, you can join as a YouTube member here 👉 https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCg3j6Cp-_RTS4JABFtgBDxA/join We are incredibly grateful for every single one of you 🫶 ⚓️ Gear we use & love (affiliate links, using them supports the channel at no extra cost to you): 🛰️ Starlink, get a discount with our referral link: https://starlink.com/?referral=RC-DF-15255972-78950-11 🧭 Orca plotter & navigation: https://getorca.com/?via=erik If you're new here, welcome! 🩵 We're Linn and Erik, a Swedish couple in our early 30s who quit our corporate routines in Stockholm, rented out our apartment, and set sail for the Mediterranean with our dachshund, Nora. We started our journey on a 33-foot sailboat from 1980, which we later sold in Germany, briefly stepped up to a Bavaria 37 from 1999, and have now officially upgraded to our dream home: a 45-foot 2016 Beneteau Oceanis where our next chapter begins.
