We've sailed from France to the north of Italy!🇮🇹 In this episode we explore the breathtaking medieval town of Porto Venere, take in dramatic views from the old hilltop church, and enjoy delicious Italian food. But full-time cruising isn't all postcards, we also handle some not so glamorous boat projects to stay anchored a bit longer.⚓️ Then we set sail south toward a tiny, Italian island with only around 400 residents. We started our journey on a 33-foot sailboat from 1980, which we later sold in Germany, briefly stepped up to a Bavaria 37 from 1999, and have now officially upgraded to our dream home: a 45-foot 2016 Beneteau Oceanis where our next chapter begins.
