Outboard doesn't start? CARBURETOR MAINTENANCE

When your outboard engine doesn't wanna start, it can of course have multiple reasons. From experience, the carburetor is the most common. Those little nozzles can clog up quickly and practically starve the engine. Sounds difficult but no worries, it's actually pretty straight forward. In this video I show you how to take out the carburetor, open it up, clean it safely, and reassemble everything with expected result, the engine starts and runs like new! Tools required: Socketwrenchset, screwdrivers, some rags and patience. So let's fix our Yamaha 8HP two-stroke outboard together!
