After leaving K’gari (formerly called Fraser Island), it was time to begin the next part of our journey north along the Queensland coast aboard Te Tāiko. There is plenty of sailing in this one and this is only the beginning of our journey north to Cape Capricorn, one of the first steps as we continue making our way towards Townsville.
