My engine breaks down in the middle of the ocean. I was pushing upwind with the motor to get a better angle to the wind. The seas was rough and we were barely making any headway with just the sails. I had to figure out a way to fix it so we could continue on. So I turn on the engine and pushed on motor sailing. But then the engine stopped. Breaking down in a doldrum sucked. It was a rough sail. And we had to take refuge on the nearest island late at night. And in the morning we were able to continue on in glorious sailing conditions all the way back to Mindelo Bay.
