Indonesia – Glimpses of Pariaman, Western Sumatra
Pariaman regency has several points of interest for visitors: the Turtle Conservation in Apar village, visit a local raditional home “ Rumah Panggung” with displays of the famous annual Tabuik Cultural Festival Parade, eat some delicious local dishes like rendang and sala at local restaurants like the Pondonk Lasuang restaurant or at a local wedding reception! Easy boat ride to nearby Angso Duo Island. Two nice local homestays are also featured. Thanks to the local governement of Pariaman and my great guide Nesa Prima Dewi for their assistance!
