How do I shower on my sailboat?

Showering on a sailboat is… a process. You start with a plan. A system. A strategy. Fresh water to wet the hair (very important, my hair needs to get hydrated before the long showering process). Then the real work begins… salt water + shampoo. Again. And again. And again. Somewhere in between you remember you also have a body to wash. Then conditioner. Maybe twice. Then back to fresh water like it’s luxury spa treatment. All of this, in a moving bathroom, with a bucket, trying not to fall over. Water temperature? Depends on the ocean’s mood that day. It’s not glamorous… but it works.
